The Plano Piranhas is a recreational youth swim team operated by the City of Plano Parks and Recreation Department’s Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center.

We are affiliated with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (www.taaf.com).

Mission Statement

  • Provide all Piranhas members and their families a “taste” of competitive swimming
  • Promote good leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and respect toward others in practices and competition
  • Emphasize stroke technique and conditioning for all Piranhas swimmers

What we do
